Well, we made it through the first month of Keefer 52. After 4 weeks of hounding Keefer to pose for this year-long project, he was able to muster-up a smile and still have fun participating. Actually, because he gave me so many good looks for this week's photo, one of the hardest parts was sorting through all the images and picking just one.
My idea for this week was to create a high key image; an image suitable for a Q-tip or cotton ball commercial. I wanted it to be in stark contrast to last week's dark; moody; low key image that was titled Sliver. For Sliver, just one flash was used to put just a thin wisp of light across Keefer's face. To counter that technique, I used a bunch of lights to flood the whole scene, including the background. The result is this bright, soft, and verging on the edge of over-exposed image. The only thing left to do now is wait for the call from Johnson & Johnson.
